Attach the dental chair unit to the handpiece. To install the bur, use your thumb to press the push button. Push the bur into the head until it comes to a stop.Verify that the bur is securely fastened. After use, click the push button with your thumb to remove the bur. For best use, the handpiece needs to be lubricated and oiled. The handpiece should be autoclaved at 135 degrees Celsius after being cleaned with a cloth saturated in alcohol and brushed clean.
